Keali’i Nui Botanical Gardens is an exquisite paradise valley on the Pacific Ocean that exudes the feeling of old Hawaii - relaxing elegance and natural splendor that takes your breath away, yet completely soothes you.
In this garden valley, a nature trail meanders through a true tropical forest along a streambed. At the end of the trail, an enchanting natural oceanfront waterfall with panoramic ocean vistas of the rugged Pacific coast provide the ideal location to relish Maui’s beauty or to exchange wedding vows with your beloved.
Keali’i Nui is the site of an Ancient Royal Hawaiian Village with preserved taro stonewall terraces built over one thousand years ago. An abundant variety of gingers, heliconias, palms, and many other exotic plants thrive on this nature preserve. Keali’i Nui is operated by Well Being International, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing a plant and bird sanctuary, a living seed bank, and to preserving the rich natural Hawaiian environment of Keali’i Nui for generations to come.
Our experienced staff offers guided tours with the Spirit of Aloha that are educational and enjoyable. Learn more about Native Hawaiian culture, medicinal and edible plants, and birds.
