Steven Addi Specialty: Glass and Steel For more than 25 years, Steven D. Addi has been well know in the art world for his entrepreneurial success as a gallery owner and art dealer. Having worked so intensively with artists and artwork from all over the world, he has also quietly been amassing ideas and designs for his own line of artwork. In 2002, Addi enrolled in TMCC’s Welding for Art course under instructor John Septien. There he learned to turn his vision of monumental sculpture into a reality. In 2003 Steve took some classes in glass fusing. He enjoyed it so much that he applied to Pilchuck Glass School where he spent 3 weeks in the summer of 2004. He studied mould making and kiln casting. Pilchuck is where he conceived the idea to put together the Masters in Glass Team and Web Site. There he met Alex Johnson and Jason Harris, which would be the driving force of the team. April 2005 celebrated a two man show with Dale Chihuly at elizabethdoyle gallery in Maui, Hawiaii. About This Artist   View My Artwork
